01/ THE CHALLENGE
Onboard was looking to modernise their communications and provide reliable connectivity throughout their sites to enable uptime and stability at all times. Issues to be resolved included poor wifi + Internet speeds and the inability to easily control access to the network. Deployment cost and operating costs were also key considerations. Customer care was a high priority, just knowing they call on a partner they can trust with a timely turnaround.

burningWAN designed and deployed a managed SD-WAN solution and comprehensive LAN networking infrastructure to connect their various locations. burningWAN conducted an adequate site survey for the Wi-Fi & Internet deployment to solve the poor Wi-Fi coverage issues and slow speeds. Lastly, by centralising the Hosted voice enabled migration towards cloud based with all the bells and whistles from a feature set, further reducing both maintenance and call costs.

As a result of the design and deployment Onboard now has enhanced security, visibility and agility via our managed SD-WAN solution preventing unauthorised or malicious network access. Improved fast fibre internet connectivity with better network bandwidth and full cellular 5G integration. A reliable Wi-Fi Network and now no blackspots inside their sites. Upgraded voice communications with all calls now via our hosted cloud solution, which reduces costs, operational difficulty and increases the agility of deployment with hosted voice capability, all wrapped in a managed service for fast, reliable & proactive customer care.
